LSLiDAR’s C16 LiDAR helped students from Chongqing Vocational College of Transportation win championship and runner-up in the recent IVISTA autonomous vehicle competition for vocational colleges.
The IVISTA Challenge simulated real-world scenarios of utilizing autonomous vehicles to improve delivery efficiency in residential and factory areas. Competing vehicles were assessed on intelligence perception, rapid decision-making, localization adaptation, driving smoothness and reliability.
The championship and runner-up teams equipped their vehicles with LSLiDAR’s C16 4.0 LiDAR, featuring higher detection accuracy, more stable point cloud output, and stronger anti-interference capabilities. This enhanced the vehicles’ environment perception to a new level.
Leveraging C16 LiDAR’s 360° 3D high-speed scanning and robust performance, the vehicles showcased exceptional autonomous driving skills in tasks including traffic light recognition, obstacle avoidance, precision parking, slope control and more.
